Biography
Erica is a member of the Observatory’s London hub and is based at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
Her
work focuses on the development of health systems and health policy in
Eastern Europe, the South Caucasus and Central Asia. She edits Health
System Reviews (HiTs) for countries in this region and supports the
State of Health in the EU programme as well as covering health system
and policy developments in the United Kingdom. Erica also supports the
Observatory’s knowledge brokering programme, particularly policy
dialogues and webinars, which allows her to mobilize her interest in
science communication.
Erica is an honorary
Associate Professor in LSHTM’s Centre for Global Chronic Conditions and
an honorary research fellow at, the Centre for Russian, Eurasian and
European Studies (CREES) at the University of Birmingham where she
completed her PhD.
